CIVICS END OF COURSE EXAM ONLINE BENCHMARK REVIEW

I highly recommend the students complete this benchmark review. In the 2015 - 2016 school year, all of my students were required to complete this and they had a 91% passing rate. Students should try to cover at least one benchmark per day. Follow the steps to complete review.

On the left you will see a list of benchmarks under the Four Civics Reporting Categories

Click on the link for benchmark SS.7.C.1.1

You will see a section titled “overview” under the heading “What You Need to Know”. Read each of the Benchmark Clarifications under the “Overview”. – You must read all of the Benchmark Clarifications for each benchmark.

Click on the “Read More” for each of the bulleted Benchmark Clarifications. Read each of the Readings and the Vocabulary on the document that opens when you click on “Read More” (May be more than one, read them all) The Readings and Vocabulary are great review for the EOC.

Below the Benchmark Clarifications, you will see three Example Questions. Answer each of the 3 Sample Test Questions (Low, Moderate, and High)

After you answer each question on your own, click on the link below each question that says “click here for answer and explanation”. (Click the back button after you read each answer)

In the upper right corner you will see “FLDOE CIVICS TUTORIAL”, click the tutorial and complete the tutorial while taking notes.

Now, repeat steps 2 – 8 for all 34 remaining benchmarks.

I highly recommend the students use this review website throughout the course. It will be extremely helpful during the Civics and when it comes to EOC review.
